Editorial

Doctoral students choose an uncertain path, down which we stride in search of the new. Littera Incognita offers an ever-changing map of these itineraries under construction.

Readers of this new electronic journal, founded by doctoral students at the LLA-CRÉATIS research centre of the University of Toulouse II-Le Mirail, can follow the progress of work by young researchers in the fields of literature, languages and art. Littera Incognita seeks to publicise the most recent findings in humanities research and to encourage the interdisciplinary exchange that is the hallmark of LLA-CRÉATIS.

A new issue of Littera Incognita appears every year, including papers from the annual Study Day for LLA-CRÉATIS doctoral students celebrated at the University of Toulouse II-Le Mirail. All published articles must have passed review by the journal’s academic committee.

Littera Incognita is also a forum for discussion promoting exchange between young research students. The editorial team seek to invite doctoral students from different universities to come together around the questions and interests they share. The Agenda, Links and Forum sections are intended as interactive spaces for dialogue.

Lastly this electronic journal offers our group of enthusiastic doctoral students the chance to experience the rigorous demands of publishing, with support from the IT department and academic staff of the University of Toulouse II-Le Mirail,.
